Makes deal to convert Kirkland's Home stores

..... Bed, Bath & Beyond Incorporated announced that it completed a deal that would accelerate the creation of new locations.
..... The company said in a September 15 [2025] news release that a $10 million purchase of the Kirkland's Home name and other brand assets from The Brand House collective has been completed.

"The move accelerates the companies; national store conversion strategy, converting Kirkland's Home locations into Bed Bath & Beyond stores," Bed Bath & Beyond Incorporated said in a statement, adding that the companies will "expand Kirkland's Home into the wholesale market, extending the brand's nearly 60-year legacy in seasonal home decor and furnishings to independent retailers nationwide and creating a new, recurring revenue stream."
..... The company did not specify which Kirkland's Home location's would be converted into Bed Bath & Beyond stores.
..... "The excitement around the Bed Bath & Beyond brand has been underiable with the first of many store conversions," Marcus Lemonis, executive chairman of Bed Bath & Beyond Incorporated said in the release.

..... Lemonis also said in August [2025] that the company would not open a brick-and-mortar location in California. Lemoinis said that the state, home to over 39 million people, will be served solely through delivery.

"We wish then well in their efforts to become relevant again as they try to open a2nd store."
