  • Appointments can be made on the Township website no earlier than the Friday before each clinic.
  • Do not book an appointment if you do not fit the criteria established by the State of New Jersey.
  • Number of available appointments based on number of doses received by Wayne Township.
  • Those who book an appointment, and receive vaccination from Wayne Township, will receive an email to obtain their second dose 1 month later.
  • Wayne Health Department is planning separate second dose clinics for those whom they vaccinate.
  • As per Moderna, the second dose should be as close to 1 month later as possible. It does not have to be exactly 28 days.

Permanent Alternate Day Watering Schedule

PERMANENT ALTERNATE DAY WATERING SCHEDULE
Wayne Township has implemented a permanent alternate day watering schedule to level out weekly water usage. The new regulation allows even numbered properties to water lawns and landscaping on Monday, Wednesday and Friday and odd numbered properties to water on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. 19. Now; Boys & Girls Club of Wayne Panther Football: Regisrations are now being accepted. Football is open to Wayne residents in grade K-8, with practices beginning in August and the season running until November. Panther Football plays in the MCYFL and has multiple teams for all grades. All teams guaranteed a full schedule of games with uncreated playing time for all players. The registration fee is $310.

20. Now to Saturday July 19, 2025; Soccer Camp: Registration are now being accepted for the summer. The camp will start on July 21 and runs for one week at Barbours Pond (Waks Field) from 9 AM. to noon for grades K-3 and 1 to 4 PM for grades 4-8. the camp will be conducted by Steve Beneventine and The Sports Factory trainers and is open to children in grades K-8. Steve played for the New York Apollos and the New Jersey Eagles of the ASL. The registration fee is $145.

The Field Hockey program is open to girls who will be in Grade 5, clinic in-town, grades 6-8 will compete in travel league as of September 2025Pratice sessions will be run clinic style and will consist of skill development, various drills, techniques and game play. this is a traveling program and we will be playing other towns during the season. ..... This program celebrates the observance of Juneteenth and continues the philosophy of Rabbi Dresner to make the would a better place. This program at the Library features speakers Pastor Wayne Colman, singer Leon B. Moses and accompanist Ron Foster on piano.

* Pastor Wayne Coleman is the senior paster at Madison Avenue CRC in Paterson. the majority of Pastor Wayne's time in the ministry was spent in Holland, Michigan where he served for over twenty years as church planner and community leader for social justice and racial reconciliation. In 2004, he and his wife Ruth received the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Social Justice award from the city of Holland, and it is where they started the very first Juneteenth festival. As a pastor he has over twenty-five years of experience serving in the areas of mission outreach, and missionary leadership development, social justice, youth ministry/education, racial reconciliation, church revitalization and urban ministry. Pastor Wayne was also the first African American ordained in the CRC Holland Classis as a Minister in Word and Sacrament.

* Leon B Moses is a gifted percussionist and vocalist. it was in the church where his love of music began. Leon sang with the great James Edward Cleveland, an American gospel singer, musician and composer. he has traveled with many musicians including: The Staple Singers, the Sansational Nightingales and The Mighty Cloud of Joy. He recorded his first R&B song in 1974 called The World Today and The Funky Bump. theses two sings were revived in March 2023 in England. In 1985, Leon recorded She's too Serious, which was distributed by Cotabato Records CBS Associates. Currently Leon is recording Gospel music with producer Kenny Davis, Ron foster and others.

* Ron Foster organized the group RonFo & Hindred Spirits Gospel/Jazz ensemble & Orchestra in 1999; it is comprised of local and world-class jazz performers, including a trombone, tenor & alto saxes, trumpets and rhythm section. Most of the music is written and/or arranged by Ron Foster who also conducts the strings & horn sections when budget allows of a large group. Kindred Spirits has performed on the states of Beacon Theater in New York, the Wang Center for the Performing Arts in Boston, and Symphony Hall in Newark. Ron Foster is currently the minister of Music at the St. Paul Baptist Church located in Passaic, New Jersey.

* Rabbi Israel S. Dresner was the spiritual leader of Temple Beth Tikvah in Wayne from 1970-1995, and continued as Rabbi Emeritus until his death in 2022. Rabbi Dresner was recognized as a leading clergyman in the Civil Rights movement, working alongside Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. His prodigious memory and his love of learning inspired him to share his learning and the promote intellectual curiosity to as many people as he could reach. Rabbi Dresner bequeathed more than one thousand books of Jewish interest to Temple Beth Tikvah, and upon his death, the books were catalogue and shelved in what has become the Rabbi Israel S. Dresner Memorial Library at Temple Beth Tikvah.

Information about the Rabbi Israel S. Dresner Center & Library is located at Temple Beth Tikvah, 950 Preakness Avenue, Wayne N.J. The Dresner Library has fascinating fiction, engaging biographies, heaps of history, heartwarming hummer, book on music and song and much more.
