ex-Toys R Us site

WAYNE - Getinge, a Swedish maker of hospital equipment, has agreed to rent office space at the former Toys R Us headquarters and will move in by the end of July. [2020]
..... The company, with current offices in Fairfield and Mahwah and on Barbour Pond Road in Wayne, will take up 45,000 square feet under a 10-year agreement at the 630,000-square-foot complex on Geoffrey Way.
..... Eric Honroth, the Getinge president, said the company also plans to open a 20,000-square-foot training facility for employees at the former Toys R Us headquarters next year. [2021]
..... It is the first tenant to announce a move to the corporate campus since a real estate broker publicized that space was for lease there two months ago. [03/2020]
.... Getinge has 1,100 employees stationed at its North Jersey offices, Honroth said, 200 of whom will relocated the new site.

..... The headquarters, on the short of a county-owned reservoir, has been mostly empty since the collapse of Toys R Us in 2017 - one of the largest retail bankrupt ices ever. Other than Getines, Dobco Incorporated is the only known lessee at the complex, occupying 20,000 square feet.
..... Denial Mladenovic, president of Dobco, also is the agent for the limited liability company that owns the 193-acre property, most of which is undeveloped.
