..... "Tyrants fall when people rise" rad the sign Diane Bowman, 78, held at a protest in Palm Beach County, Florida. "People don;t pay attention," she said. "And I'm afraid I was one of them."

.... People were spurred to action by outrage over immigration enforcement and the war with Iran, Leach Greenberg, co-founder of the Indivisible group that helped put together the day of protest, previous told USA Today.
.....
"We're hearing an enormous number of folks who are just horrified by the launch of this war, by the way it's driving up costs at home, and by the way this administration is wreaking havoc and violence both at home and abroad and suing in both cases our tax dollars that are taken from our health care and education to do it," she said.
..... Greenberg said the purpose of the protests is to bring people together to voice their displeasure and build relationships that keep them involved.
..... On the morning of March 28, [2026] people gathered near Arlington National Cemetery outside of Washington ahead of a planned march to the National Mall.
..... "What's happening in this country is unsustainable," said John Ale, 57, a retired air conditioning and heating contractor who lives in Virginia. "The middle class, the little people, can't afford to live anymore. And [Trump] is breaking the norms, the things that made us function as a country."
