LSI Incorporated, of Alpena, South Dakota, recalled about 2.3 million pounds of its pork jerky for possible contamination with metal pieces, the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service, or FSIS, announced October 24. [2025]
..... To date, there have been no confirmed reports of injury due to consumption of this product, the FSIS said. Anyone concerned about an injury should contact a health care provider, the agency said.
