..... He also said he was going to ask Saudi Arabia and OPEC to bring down the cost of oil. He connected energy to the ware in Ukraine, which is coming to the end of its third war.
..... "If the price came down, the Russia-Ukraine War would end immediately," he said. "Right now, the price is high enough that the ware will continue. You gotta bring down the oil price. you gotta end the war."
..... The speech to Davos followed Trump's first sit-down interview form the Oval Office with fox News Sean Hannity, which was broadcast Wednesday [01/22/2025] evening. The president discussed his political comeback and his deluge of executive orders while continuing to hammer old enemies.

..... Trump told Hannity that many of the challenges facing the U.S. are"solvable" but that it will take :time, effort and money, unfortunately." He did not get into specifics.
..... "We can get our country back, but if we didn't win this race, I really believe our country would have been lost forever," he said.
..... hannity peppered the president with questions on several issues. Among them: the future of TikTok using troops to enforce the law at the U.S.-Mexico border and there reason he pardon supporters who violently attacked the U.S. Capitol four years ago.
..... Biden exited the White House issuing a series of preemptive pardons due to fear of reprisals by Trump administrator. Among those blessed with a clean slate were several members of Biden's own family, such as his son hunter Biden, who had been accused of influence-peddling.
..... "This guy went around giving everybody pardons," Trump said. He then suggested Biden erred by not giving himself a get-out-of-jail-free card.
..... "The funny thing, maybe the said thing, is he didn't give himself pardon," to do with him."
..... Hammity eventually brought up Trump's own decisions on his first day extending pardons and clemency to roughly 600 people charges in the January 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol, including top members of two right-leaning militia groups.
